I designed an overdrive pedal based on a Tube Screamer - but this one has 192 sound options!

I chose all the components so the pedal looks presentable as well. For this, I also designed a breakout board for the jacks and the foot switch. See them as going together, they complement each other.

Dip Switch options:

NOTE: on the dip switches. One 4xdipswitch is turned one way, the other the other way. This way, if all switches are in the right-hand position that is Tube Screamer like sound. Mods are turned on if switches are flipped to the left.

BOOST = SW3A (extra gain) - ON for TS, off for extra BOOST

>> = SW3B (clipping diodes 1) - ON for TS, off for 2 diodes, so if turned off you get asymmetrical clipping. ON shorts one of the diodes so you get only one clipping diode

<< = SW3C (clipping diodes 2) - ON for TS, off for 2 diodes

TRBL = SW3D (extra treble/presence) - ON for TS, adds low pass filter so it attenuates higher frequencies, OFF adds that extra treble ( https://barbarach.com/cliodhna-tone-control/ )

 FLT = SW3D - OFF = TS, ON - slightly flatter control (not as pronounced mid range bump)

 RAT = SW2B + SW2C (two-part filter system) - OFF = TS, both ON = RAT like response ... now RAT has hard clipping, so not RAT, but it changes tone in a similar way

BASS = SW2A (bass boost) - OFF = TS, ON - extra bass

Be careful though - these two PCBs are designed for Hammond 1590B like enclosure (60mm width). The fit is real tight
