In this video we design a custom shape PCB and send it into PCBWAY to have it manufactured. It makes it's round trip from Ohio, USA to China and back in 8 days. To make our custom shape we import a drawing into the board outline layer in our PCB design software. because I can't know what software you are using, you will need to consult your dicumentation to find out which type of file it requires. Beyond that, the process is pretty much the same.
We used 5mm RGB fast flashing leds in this build to eliminate the circuitry that would be required to do use discreet components to build this board. No need to make things any more challenging.
