COMMODORE MOS 2364 ROM READER & TESTER ADAPTER

This is a tested and working project.

This is an Easy DIY project, all components are through hole, marked on the PCB, Easy to solder, Easy to make ;)

Commodore MOS 2364 ROM reader & tester adapter is designed for reading and testing (verifying) Commodore MOS 2364 ROMs with your IC programmer.

This adapter converts the MOS 2364 ROM pinout to a 27C64 EPROM pinout. It is intended only for reading and verification, it does not support erasing, programming, or rewriting.

The testing method is, verifying the MOS 2364 ROM against the original binary ROM image file.

How to use:

Insert the MOS 2364 ROM chip into this adapter.

In your programmer software, select “27C64 EPROM” as the IC type.

Disable or uncheck the “Check-ID” option in your programmer software.

Insert the adapter (with the 2364 chip installed) into your programmer’s IC socket.

Read or verify your MOS 2364 ROM image as if it were a 27C64 EPROM.
