Hello there and welcome to my project. Back in November, I made a DIY CMOS battery tester because I work with computers a lot and I'm constantly having to test their CMOS batteries. I found it inconvenient to have to constantly get out my multimeter and test these batteries, and additionally, being able to put a load across the CMOS battery to ensure its voltage doesn't immediately collapse when something tries to draw power from it would have been very helpful. Therefore, I developed this project, or more specifically, the first version of this project. There were some serious issues with that version though, and because of that, I didn't release the files/designs to the public.

Now I've revisited it and made it better than ever! This project is now at a place where I feel comfortable releasing it to the public, and that's what this project is for. Here you can find the Gerber files to order your very own PCB for this project!
