The Universal Motorcycle Signal Converter Module is a compact electronic interface designed to translate and condition electrical signals between different motorcycle ECUs, dashboards, and external devices. It enables compatibility between components that use different signal formats without requiring extensive modifications to the original wiring harness.

The module performs real-time signal conditioning, voltage level conversion, and waveform processing to ensure reliable communication between connected systems. It supports crankshaft position (CKP) signal conditioning, 12 V to logic-level conversion, dashboard signal adaptation, and provides clean digital outputs suitable for logic analyzers, microcontrollers, and other electronic modules.

Designed with serviceability and future expansion in mind, the module uses through-hole (DIP) components where practical, making repairs, modifications, and prototyping easier than surface-mount designs. The architecture also allows optional integration of a microcontroller for additional features such as dashboard support, warning light control, signal emulation, diagnostics, and firmware updates.

The primary objective of the project is to create a robust, modular, and reliable signal conversion platform that simplifies ECU swaps, dashboard integration, diagnostics, reverse engineering, and custom motorcycle electronics development while maintaining OEM wiring integrity through plug-and-play connections.
