Blue Silence
This project is a USB Power supply noise reductor. Is intended to be used in critical milivolts meassures where ADC voltage reference is shared with the USB supply voltage.
It was designed for a project I made with ARDUINO, then I decided to share with all of you.
The component list is as follows:
J1 - Male USB cable connected to the board.
J2 - Female USB connector
R1 - 15 ohms resistor
R2 - 4.7k resistor
C1 - 2200 uF capacitor
C2 - 220 uF capacitor
L1, L2 - 10mH inductors
It uses inductors and capacitoors to filter spike voltages and a LED for power indicaator.
Here are screen captures I made with a handheld oscilloscope. The first one is a voltage meassured without the device and the second one is with the device conected.
I also made a case for the device.
