Description
Amiga 500 Enhanced CPU Relocator
This is an enhanced CPU relocator for the Amiga 500. It was designed due to PiStorm power and stability issues I was facing with previous relocators, but also works really well with other accelerators such as the TerribleFire range of cards. It features:
- 4 layer board with power planes to handle the power requirements of hungry boards
- Length adjusted traces for improved signal timing
- Cutouts for the positions of the capacitor C816 that gets in the way on revision 6 and 8 motherboards
- A proper CPU socket, not SIL strips
- Decoupling capacitors
- Some styling improvements
- My logo in metal :)
