### DESCRIPTION

This is an adapter that converts the DVD power port on the Xbox 360 motherboard to a standard SATA Power pinout. It also applies the Tray_Closed jumper, required to keep power on and tell the motherboard that the 'DVD' tray is closed. This fools the Xbox 360 into thinking that the DVD drive is connected.

### TECHNICAL DETAILS / COMPONENTS

Signals are mapped 1:1 to utilize either a cut DVD Power cable, or a connector on the PCB that will accept the standard (unknown part number) DVD Power connector. While the connection on the motherboard is a 12-pin header, there are only 10 pins connected.

The only requirements for this project are an xbox 360 dvd power cable, and a molex to Sata power adapter. I included the 3.3v rail in case the user wants to use a drive that requires the full 8 wire adapter for DVD drives and/or newer hard drives that may have 3.3v standby power.
