Reproduction Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Controller
This is an awesome project to make your OEM original NES shell clear (or any color you want really). All you need to do is have your original OEM controller shell and order the top and bottom shell from the linked STL files below. Once printed, simply swap the parts and you should be good to go.
The only thing to keep in mind is if you go with the transparent resin option for printing, there will be a spray varnish finish applied to make it clear, depending upon how that varnish hardens you may have to sand the button wells on the A & B buttons. I did this with a bit of 600 grit sandpaper wrapped around a screw driver. The trick is to go slow and not remove more material than you need to. This took me about 10/15 minutes and everything was ready to go!
