Description
HP 5327 Nixie Frequency Meter To Clock Display Converter
We developed this reversible HP Nixie counter mod to display the time coming from the Apollo Central Timing Equipment, the Apollo Command Module clock, onto a suitably retro display. Just exchange the original HP 1820-0116 ICs with this circuit. It will transform the rear BCD outputs to inputs instead, which you can then use to display anything on the Nixies, including time. You can also apply this trick to the HP 5221B counter. More details in the video below.
