Genesis/Mega Drive 4Mb Cartridge Board

Simple to use Sega Genesis/Mega Drive 4Mb Cartridge Board, 100% compatible with original hardware.

Materials needed:

IC1: 27C322 DIP42 Eeprom memory for 4Mb Rom, or 29F800 TSOP48 Flash memory for 1Mb Rom

C1, C2: 10uF 16V Electrolytic Capacitor

C3: 100nF 16V Ceramic Capacitor

Considerations:

-Make sure to byteswap the Rom file before burn it into the eeprom/flash memory.

-Make sure to close R1 or R2 on the back of the PCB.

-Make sure that the region of the Rom file (U, E or J) matches the region of the console (Very important).

-This PCB may not work with a few titles with saving feature.

-Notice that if you are using a 27C160 or a 27C322 Eeprom memory you will need a special adapter to burn it, since most of programmers don't support them:
