This is the EasESC a 1.5A 9v capable dual brushless motor driver

I've designed it to be as easy to build as possible

Aside from the boards SMD'd by PCBWay you will need an RP2040 zero to solder to the bottom of the board

This version of the project is the raw boards, you'll need to SMD the components yourself

You need:

0805 footprint:

C3: 470nF

C4: 47uF

C6, C7: 10uF

R1, R3: 20k

R2, R4: 10k

SOT-223 footprint:

U3: AMS1117-5.0

Sop-16 footprint:

U2: MX1508

Note: be careful buying MX1508 ICs, places like Aliexpress have a problem where some sellers will sell bundles of MX1508 and MX1508RX as MX1508 ICs. MX1508RX ICs have a different pin out and will short out if used on this board

Connections:

RP2040 is soldered to the underside of the board

s2 goes to the data pin for channel 2 on an RC receiver

s1 goes to the data pin for channel 1 on an RC receiver

5v goes to the power pin on any channel on an RC receiver (providing the receiver with power)

GND goes to both the ground pin on any channel on an RC receiver and the battery ground

Vbat goes to the positive of the battery (or a switch that connects to the positive of the battery)
