EQD Crimson Drive
Crimson Drive is a cutting-edge and dynamic overdrive built around one germanium transistor and two vintage germanium diodes. It creates an open tone with excellent overtones and a pleasant "wet grit" that cannot be reproduced on more common FET or op amp overdrive pedals. When you turn the knob, the gain can go from a high-end booster to a thundering overdrive overdrive, which sounds similar to vintage tube amps when the tubes are fully driven. Works great with both singles and humbuckers. Removes the gain level when turning the volume knob on the guitar towards zero.
