Dell Wyse 3040 MicroSD adapter
This is a simple MicroSD adapter to be used in Dell Wyse 3040 Thin Client, alternative to Raspberry Pi for DIY use.
I got the idea from this website:
https://www.parkytowers.me.uk/thin/wyse/3040/storage.shtml
The PCB layout is completely new and simplified, using the minimum number of vias for tracks and optimizing them.
This adapter allows a Dell Wyse 3040 Thin Client to expand its internal memory by using a MicroSD, becoming a very similar solution to the one proposed by Raspberry Pi.
The Thin Client can be found in eBay used for around 30€ and with this mod it becomes a real alternative to Raspberry Pi, as long as GPIO ports are not required.
You just need to solder the MicroSD socket, Amphenol 114-00841-68.
