Description
Darkness sensor
The circuit is designed to turn on an LED when the ambient light decreases, i.e. when it is dark. This is achieved by using a comparator based on the LM358 operational amplifier, where the signals coming from a photoresistor (LDR) and a variable resistor are compared. Depending on the light conditions affecting the photoresistor, the comparator will change its state and control the activation of an LED connected to its output.
