This solution improves audio and video quality by reducing noisy signals.

It requires extensive modification of the motherboard.

Modification list:

The MOS6560/6561 must be desoldered and socketed.

The following components must be removed from the motherboard:

• R8, R9, R10, R11, R12, R13, R27, R40, R41(or FB8)
• C8, C9, C10, C11, C13, C17
• Q1, Q2
• FB7, FB10
• P4

The following components must be replaced with new part numbers (see the BOM list):

• C11 (an audio capacitor with improved value)
• P4 (it may require drilling holes)
• FB10 (to replace with a resistor in order to minimize jail bars)
• C8 (to replace with two capacitors in parallel in order to minimize jail bars)

Connection scheme:

Connect 6560/6561 adapter pin 2 (CHROMA) with a wire to DIN8 pin 6.

Connect 6560/6561 adapter pin 3 (LUMA) with a wire to DIN8 pin 1.

Connect the 6560/6561 CVBS header connector (COMPOSITE) with a wire to DIN8 pin 4.

Connect 6560/6561 adapter pin 19 (AUDIO OUT) with a wire to C11 (positive terminal) and then DIN8 pin 3.

DIN8 pin 7 is not connected (floating).

DIN8 pin 8 connects to +5V (or floating).

DIN8 pin 2 connects to GND.

DIN8 pins 4 and 5 must be separated cutting the trace (bottom side).

DIN8 pin 1 must be separated from +5V cutting the trace (top side).
