In my newest project I present a DIY modular couch I built.

Since I didn't have access to large woodworking tools, I designed the main rings as interlocking FDM printed pieces locked together by nearly 100 quarter inch bolts that strengthen the layers from snapping apart. Then the modular pieces like the backrest and table attach to this 3D printed ring.

All of the metal hardware is 3mm stainless steel sheet metal folded and welded by PCBWay, with the higher finish quality selected. They very strong and look amazing.

All the sewing was also done by me on some questionable sewing machines using chenille fabric. The lower harder foam is a cut up memory foam mattress (though be careful because apparently some mattresses may contain fiberglass). The top part is full of down pillows for an extra soft top layer. I would say it is surprisingly comfortable and you can arrange all the shapes many different layouts.
