Dear contestants,
On this special occasion of PCBWay's 11th anniversary, we are thrilled to announce the winners of the badge design competition! We received numerous outstanding badge designs, and after fierce competition, we have selected four winning badges.
Let’s give a huge round of applause to these creative stars! They are:
First Prize:
First Prize: Designed by Filippo Castellan
This innovative badge, designed for everyday use, monitors temperature and humidity with a precise BME280 sensor, displaying readings on two 11-LED bars. Ideal for home comfort or 3D printer filament storage, it ensures a healthy environment. The PCBWay logo, with silkscreen and exposed copper, highlights craftsmanship. Green LEDs (temperature) and blue LEDs (humidity) reflect the 2025 wooden snake’s colors, while the red PCB symbolizes luck. The design integrates PCBWay’s services: CNC, PCB fabrication, assembly, and 3D printing.
Award: $500 cash+ $300 PCBWay coupon

Second Prize: Designed by Guiye Perez Bongiovanni
The PCBWay 11th Anniversary Badge celebrates a decade-plus of empowering creators and engineers through top-tier PCB fabrication and innovation support. Featuring a rocket graphic, it symbolizes PCBWay’s role in propelling ideas beyond limits. Eleven LEDs, one for each year from 2014 to 2025, light up in an ascending sequence, representing the growth of projects and PCBWay’s impact. The phrase “Eleven years pushing projects beyond limits” underscores this shared vision of innovation. More than a tribute, the badge inspires dreamers to launch their ideas into reality, reflecting PCBWay’s commitment to driving technological progress for creators worldwide.

My badge aims to represent PCBWay’s ability to bring inventors’ ideas to life from all around the world—covering both the electrical aspect (represented by the golden lines reminiscent of PCB traces) and the mechanical aspect (represented by the gears shown on the badge).
Additionally, the badge includes discrete electronics that allow a soft breathing effect of LEDs placed on the axes of the gears featured on the top layer. This breathing light represents how a product can come to life after once being just a simple idea.

Most Functional Award
Most Functional Prize: Designed by Nick Electronics
Number 11 is not just a number. In reality it's a touch sensor. When 11 in the middle is touched, the counter IC counts touches and lights up edge LEDs (4 of them at the very edge of the board). Those LEDs represent a binary code - 0b0000. When the number of touches reaches 11, the middle 11 LEDs (Dragon Constellation) start blinking dazzlingly in favour of PCBWays 11th anniversary My badge aims to represent PCBWay’s ability to bring inventors’ ideas to life from all around the world—covering both the electrical aspect (represented by the golden lines reminiscent of PCB traces) and the mechanical aspect (represented by the gears shown on the badge).

My interactive light bulb badge celebrates PCBWay's 11 years of innovation with touch-activated LED animation. The design features the number "11" as filament holders and incorporates 2025's Year of the Wood Snake as the gold-finished base. When touched, WS2812B LEDs create a rotating gear pattern, symbolising PCBWay's continuous progress. The badge showcases PCBWay's precision cutting, gold ENIG finish, and UV printing capabilities while remaining under 100×100mm for affordability. This functional art piece represents the bright ideas PCBWay has brought to the maker community for 11 years and many more to come.
