A simple board to get started with the CH32V002, with easy access to I2C and UART expansion, as well as onboard RTC (can fit either a supercap or a CR2032 holder, the DS1302Z+ can be set to trickle charge the supercap, allowing lesser part count), 12 LEDs multiplexed and arranged in a circle to display nice pattern effects (see video in repository, the matrix is controlled with a 74HC595 shift register, dropping pin count requirements from the CH32V002), headers to add a push button and linear potentiometer inputs, a speaker with a Class D amplifier connected to the PWM inputs (allows generating PCM-over-PWM, or PDM, to produce audio from the CH32V002 over the TIM1 peripheral, see repository), and space for a piezo buzzer or header.

Note: firmware is WIP, expect to need to support your own toolchain and build for the board. You will need a WCH-LinkE to flash the CH32V002 at least once regardless. Check out the repository for a convenient PlatformIO starting point.
