Description

XCart - 4MB ATARI XE/XL Cartridge

XCart - ATARI XE/XL cartridge compatible with MegaCart 4MB (code 63) with small differences (*).

A bank-switched cartridge that occupies 16 KB of address space between

$8000 and $BFFF. It is controlled by a byte written to $D500-$D5FF. Values

0-254 select one of the first 255 banks, and the value 255 disables the

cartridge. Bank 255 is not available.

PCB compatible with SikorSoft enclosures.

Cartridge dedicated to "Street Fighter 2" ;)

(*) Differences:

Mega: write to $D500-$D51F; XCart: write to $D500-$D5FF

Mega: one memory chip; XCart: two memory chips (use XCart flasher)

Mega: read $D500-$D51F give last value; XCart read $FF

Mega: start bank 254, XCart start bank 0
