This shared project replicates WULPUS PRO Evaluation Board PCB v1.0.0.
Important: Once you place an order, PCBWay will deliver the PCB fully assembled but not flashed. After receiving the PCB, please follow Steps 2–4 of the Build Instructions to complete the device bring-up.
WULPUS PRO is a novel open-source runtime-programmable wearable ultrasound acquisition platform with an ultra-compact size of 39 × 21 × 6 mm and low weight of 5 g that integrates 16 time-multiplexed channels, a two-state configurable pulser (up to 30 V), a receive front end with up to 70 dB total gain (LNA + VGA), time-gain compensation support, an optional analog envelope extraction module, and an 8-Msps ADC providing a 9.9 MHz amplification path and 1.4-MHz end-to-end bandwidth.
The system operates with only 40 mW power budget at 50 Hz pulse repetition frequency (PRF) and under 60 mW at 300 Hz. WULPUS PRO is designed for seamless integration with research hardware via flexible data interfaces such as wireless data transmission with external Bluetooth Low Energy (nRF52-based) or Wi-Fi module ( based on ESP32-C6).
