PART A. High speed Functionality
Texas Instruments
High-Speed Front-End for PCIe Gen-3 Cards Reference Design
This verified reference design is a PCIe Gen-3 high-speed front-end card design to extend the PCB trace distance of a PCIe sub-system. The board is designed to fit in a x16 lane width PCIe Gen-3 slot between a motherboard and PCIe Gen3 add-in card. This reference design provides users with a useful guideline to incorporate the DS80PCI810 repeater into PCIe Root Complex ASIC and the Add-in Card designs of their own. Features PCIe Gen-3 Riser Card compatible to a 16-lane PCIe Gen3 slot from Motherboard Extends PCB trace length of a PCIe Gen-3 sub-system Improves signal Integrity and system robustness Seamlessly compatible with link training between host from Motherboard and End-point card
PART B. i.MX 6 applications processors are part of NXP's EdgeVerse? edge computing platform.
NXP Nexperia
The i.MX 6ULZ processor is a high-performance, ultra cost-efficient consumer Linux processor featuring an advanced implementation of a single Arm? Cortex?-A7 core, which operates at speeds up to 900 MHz. The i.MX 6ULZ applications processor includes full audio suite: ESAI, I2S X 3, S/PDIF, and an integrated power management module that reduces the complexity of an external power supply and simplifies power sequencing. Each processor in this family provides various memory interfaces, including 16-bit LPDDR2, DDR3, DDR3L, raw and managed NAND flash, NOR flash, eMMC, Quad SPI and a wide range of other interfaces for connecting peripherals such as WLAN, Bluetooth? and GPS.
