Transformer-Power Supply

This project presents a compact transformer-based linear power supply PCB, designed to deliver a stable and reliable DC output for general electronics and embedded applications. The circuit integrates AC–DC conversion, rectification, filtering, and voltage regulation into a single, well-organized PCB layout.

The design uses a step-down transformer, followed by a bridge rectifier and smoothing capacitors to reduce ripple, ensuring a clean DC supply. Proper component placement, trace width selection, and grounding practices were applied to improve thermal performance and electrical stability.

This PCB is suitable for microcontroller systems, development boards, and low-noise analog circuits, making it ideal for educational, prototyping, and small-scale production use.
