Intro:

The Pressure Tap Block (PTB) allows a pressure transistor to be mounted close to the Gaggia boiler/group head, while the PTFE tubing acts as a heat break to limit thermal effects on the transducer. Significant testing was done to ensure the tubing will self-fill during normal operation, circulate water, and report accurate pressures.

Ordering:

For ordering on PCBWay, the PTB should be made with CNC Machining from 300 series stainless steel, smooth machining finish recommended, tapping required.

Other materials can be purchased locally or AliExpress. Make sure to check temperature ratings of the fittings!

• 1x PC6-M5 Stainless Steel Fitting, ideally 180+ C temp rating
• 1x PLF6-02 Stainless Steel Fitting, 120+ C temp rating
• 1x Flat gasket/o-ring | 1/4 inch pipe (11 x 6 mm), 3 mm thick
• 1x 6x4 mm PTFE tubing
