Here are my AA compatible game boy pocket rear shell designs, other versions (AAA and Sealed USB C) to be added shortly.

Credit to @CantXDrift_259721(printables) who made the modifications to my GBP original shell to have a AA back, I used small elements of this design (including their awesome battery cover!) to complete the one for my design, mine isolates the + and - terminals to avoid shorts and keeps the bottom screws to ensure the console is secure but tucks them behind the cover.

If using this design, I highly recommend applying Kapton tape or some other insulator to the screw within the battery bay to avoid shorts on the AA model. it can be put together without it but less securely. If you make one, be sure to tag me! @josephtomkins
