GAL programmer
Thsi is hardware to program GAL's. It has variable programming voltage setting. Better protection against high voltages reaching parallel port (which could damge motherboard). Needs a 24 V power adapter.
On LInux it _can_ _also_ work, it does for me, with certain USB<->IEE1284 convertors. (Should be Lucent USS720 compatible.) The companion CSGSOCK2 adapter provide sockets for 20pin resp. 24 pin ZIF sockets.
Very easy to design you own adapter.
The perlblast_nh (Perl) software can directly control everything on this board. More details will be on the gitnub archive.
