Commodore 64 Lumafix (revision B)
There are a few versions of the Lumafix board available and this is mine,a simplified version that should be easier to solder together for beginners with access to a modest selection of functional set of soldering tools. Gone are the slightly confusing surface mount options that's mostly only suitable for those with more advanced skills, so what you need to add is what you see!
For those not familiar with the Lumafix board, it is a circuit designed to attempt to minimize the amount of vertical banding shown on most Commodore 64 computers when connected to a modern TV (C64C and other short boards seem to be affected the most). It doesn't remove the problem completely since it doesn't attempt to solve the root cause (signal crosstalk), but it goes a long way to cancel out most of the effect.
Revision B has the option of bypassing the normal signal route via the motherboard by wiring directly to the modulator replacement, also a shared project of mine - when doing so the root cause is mostly eliminated, but it requires the aforementioned modulator replacement. When going the bypass route most components will no longer be needed, so an almost bare board is used. If you want to use the board as an ordinary Lumafix board, then you need to put wirelinks across the points marked LUM_SEP and CHR_SEP (alternatively, just get the revision A instead).
All of the components have, where applicable, been picked out so that it can be built as cheap as possible for people wanting to do this as a fun project in the home workshop (or kitchen table if that is what you have). For a complete list of components and build instructions, see the documentation links.
