Bluepill Quadcopter Flight Controller Carrier

A fully hand-solderable (through-hole) carrier board that turns an STM32F103 Blue Pill into a compact flight controller for 5-inch brushless quadcopters. Every part is THT, so it assembles with a basic soldering iron - no hot air, no BGA.

FEATURES

• STM32F103C8T6 Blue Pill socketed on 2x20 female headers
• - MPU-6050 6-axis IMU on a socket (I2C), aligned to the board reference frame
• - 4x ESC signal outputs on PWM/DShot-capable timer pins, with 5V and GND rails
• - RC receiver header (PPM/SBUS on USART) plus a spare UART
• - 5V BEC input, reverse-polarity protection, bulk + local decoupling
• - SWD header for one-click flashing and debugging
• - 4-layer PCB: solid GND plane + 5V power plane, signals on outer layers, stitching vias

• Full KiCad project (schematic + layout), Gerbers, drill file and BOM
• - Example flight firmware (Arduino / STM32duino) that reads the IMU and drives 4 ESCs

NOTE

A carrier / mainboard for hobby FPV and experimentation, sold as a bare or partially populated PCB - you add the Blue Pill, IMU module and connectors. Not a certified ready-to-fly product; for makers who want to understand and modify their own flight controller.
