Notice on Mexico Tariff Adjustment

On July 28, 2025, the Mexican Tax Administration (SAT) issued the Fourth Amendment to the General Rules of Foreign Trade (RGCE) 2025 through the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF), which stipulates that starting from August 15, 2025, the global import tariff for goods imported through T1 customs clearance with a value of less than $2500 (excluding the United States and Canada) will be increased from 19% to 33.5%.
