CAPABILITY CHART - PCB Designing

Schematic Drawings:
We can generate schematic drawings from engineering hand sketches, spec sheets and schematic CAD package, then generate a netlist and BOM and email to you for checking. If you don't have a schematic CAD package and we design your schematics, we will give you a net list, BOM and Adobe Acrobat .PDF files of the schematic for you to view on your own PC, print and check. We will need your engineering approval of the schematic and netlist before the PCB design process begins.

Engineering Change Order (ECO):
AutoECO enables you to forward annotate a printed circuit board from Capture to Layout. AutoECO also resolves "pin-to-pin" conflicts that may arise due to pins that are missing from a chosen footprint, or pins that are named differently in the Capture than they are in Layout. (For example, a diode may have pins named pin A and pin C in Capture, but named pin 1 and pin 2 in Layout.)

AutoECO selectively communicates information from Capture to Layout, or from one printed circuit board to another. In other words, when bringing data into Layout from Capture, you can choose the appropriate AutoECO option to annotate only the data that has changed.

PCB Design:
All the current surface mount technology (SMT) design and fabrication techniques available today can be utilized. Data line is heavily experienced in ultra hi-density single and double-sided component placement optimization of very fine to ultra fine pin pitched parts, complex manual routing and auto-routing techniques. Mother-daughter board stacking utilizing both rigid and flex circuit interconnection. Fine-line traces/spaces, mini-vias, Embedded vias, shielded fast clock routes, fixed matched pairs, complex analog/digital multi-split VCC/GND planes, .040 dia, .100 spaced IC test point placement.

From netlist we pre-set the layout design rules before routing or placement of components begin. Design Rules Checking ( DRC) continually checks for both continuity and artwork opens and shorts. We can create complex, custom board outlines with many curves, slots, cut outs and angles, height restrictions, route/component keep-outs, tooling and board outline, etc. Meticulous attention is given to all aspects of the design, including the silkscreen, solder mask and solder paste stencil. To simplify locating components during prototype de-bugging, we can re-sequence the component labels on the silkscreen. We have the facility to Design Single Layer, Double Layer, Multi Layer and Surface Mount Technology.

Library Development:
Our Engineers are creating schematic and Footprint library as and when the new component is available in the industry.

We can create schematic symbols for your organization on a regular basis. You provide a manufacturer and component part number, the name of the CAD package and we take it from there.

Out Put Data:
• Schematic Files
• Final Net-list
• Gerber files ( RS274 D or RS 274 X format) for all routed artwork layers
• Aperture list
• Component Side
• Solder Side
• Inner Layers, if any
• Solder and Paste Mask ( if any )
• Silk Screen
• CNC Drill Files in Excellon Format
• Pick & Place files in a Format
• NC drill file
• Drill drawing artwork

PCB's Designed:
• Wireless Radios
• Vibration Instrument and Recoders
• Wheel Balancer
• ISA and PCI add-on cards
• Microprocessor and Microcontroller boards
• Data Acquisition System
• Power Supplies LINEAR / SMPS
• VME Graphics/CPU/19" M'boards
• 486 Multibus-ISA

CAD Tools:
• OrCAD
• Protel
• CAM Software
• Auto-Cad

Aperture tables (RS-247D)
• D-CODE: i.e. D10, D11, D12...
• SHAPE: i.e. Round, Square, Oval...
• SIZE: in decimal inches, mils or metric
• TYPE: Flash or Draw

Custom apertures can be accommodated but must be accompanied by a detailed dimensioned drawing.

Note: Aperture lists must be entered into our CAM software in order to correctly view your Gerber data. Aperture lists, when entered by hand, are susceptible to human error. A more desirable method is to use software to convert the supplied aperture table. Circuit Graphics has software to convert aperture lists output from the most commonly used CAD packages to a format recognizable by our CAM software.
Technical Conditions

Initial Inputs with complete Information of all parts is required. Layout Guidelines and or Specifications to be part of inputs.
Delivery schedule depends upon the Inputs and the complexity of the design.
