Underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle(ROV)
AAST Triton ROVs started as a small, passionate team of students who believed that underwater robotics was more than just a project—it was a mission. With limited resources but unlimited ambition, we gathered mechanical, electrical, and software minds under one vision: to build an ROV capable of standing among the best.
Our first true test came at the Egyptian Regional Competition, where we competed against the top teams from AASTMT and across the country. It was intense, challenging, and pushed us to our limits—but it also revealed our strength. After months of late nights, PCB redesigns, rewiring, coding, and testing, we proudly secured 1st Place in the Egyptian Regional(AASTMT).

This victory opened the door to the world.
Representing Egypt, we traveled to the United States to compete in the MATE International ROV Competition, one of the most competitive underwater robotics events globally. Among teams from every continent, we stood strong and achieved an incredible milestone, earning 4th place in the International Explorer Class. It was a moment that proved our dedication, our innovation, and our teamwork.

From the first solder joint to the final dive in the competition pool, every step has shaped who we are today.
We have grown into a disciplined, skilled, and united team—where Electrical, Software, and Mechanical divisions operate like gears in one reliable machine.
