### DESCRIPTION ( Introduce yourserlf and your project)

Hi, I am Gabriel Soares, the electrical lead of Team Phantom, Simon Fraser University's FSAE Electric team. Our team aims to build a fully electric vehicle from scratch, to compete at international competition. We also strive to push the future of sustainable transportation, and inspire others to make EVs abundant in our society.

### TECHNICAL DETAILS (With project photos)

Our electrical team is passionate about hardware design! We design custom PCBs for our low voltage controller, transceiver breakouts, our dashboard, and are currently working on more boards for the SAE vehicle. Our team is comprised of talented engineering students, who have experience in PCB design from interning at companies such as Intel, Tesla, and Apple. 

Team Phantom recently completed a prototype electric go kart as a proof of concept! The go kart runs off of a 10kW PMAC motor, with a 48V LiFePO4 60Ah accumulator pack. This go kart serves as our prototyping platform, and has given us some good experience to build a full size SAE eletric race car.

### Words to PCBWay

Our electrical team has ordered boards from PCBWay before with great results. We would greatly appreciate any sponsorship PCBWay can provide! Due to the extreme cost of other components (batteries, motor, mechanical components..) it is difficult for us to afford our own custom hardware. We have lots of PCBs to design! Including prototypes and new ideas for reliable systems (i.e. BMS and controllers). Our team is excited for the opportunity to work on these systems, and looks forward to working with PCBWay in the future.
