Reali+ | motion sensor for virtual reality with built-in haptic feedback

Fully portable, self-contained motion sensor for virtual reality with built-in haptic feedback.

Reali+ is a bachelor's degree engineering project at the University of Sherbrooke, carried out by 8 involved and experienced graduates. The project consists of a portable arm and hand movement sensor that can be used in a virtual or augmented reality context. Current solutions for external sensors are limited to restricted environments while our solution allows autonomous operation of the sensor. It would then be easier to set up to play video games, or to adapt the product for use in everyday life with augmented reality glasses.
