MIT Motorsports MY18

### DESCRIPTION ( Introduce yourserlf and your project)

MIT Motorsports is a student team competing in the American Formula Electric competition in Lincoln, NE. Our team of 40 undergraduate students builds a new open wheel electric racecar from scratch each year. We've been racing electric cars since 2014 and achieved a best result of 2nd place overall at last year's competition.

### TECHNICAL DETAILS (With project photos)

Our car has a custom built 300V, 7kWh battery that propels our car around a 22km endurance race. Our motor outputs a maximum of 80kW which allows our car to do 0-100kph in under 4 seconds.

We build almost all of the circuits on our car, including its battery management system and primary vehicle computer. Doing so gives us maximum design flexibility and reliability.

### Words to PCBWay

We've used PCBWay throughout the build cycle for our last two electric racecars and have always been very impressed with the level of customer service, support, and quality of the end-products. We've also used PCBWay for small batch assembly work and were very happy when all of our boards worked out of the box. The pricing of PCBWay is also very competitive. We look forward to using PCBWay more in the future!
