Speaker protection can be used for true duo mono DC, Delay, temperature, over current
Over current protection in most amplifiers works between 50-100hz and below. DC detection is a balance between the lowest playable tone and DC detection response times most amplifiers work between 500ms-1 second, others 2 seconds and some at 4 seconds. Most amplifiers will eventually fail with or without protection due to the window of focus, however protection can be better than none.
