This is a project to display and save your location during activities. There are a lot of
fancy GPS watches that can do it all , but for those who want to experiment and be creative , this is the way to go.
The main parts are Atmel Mega 128 cpu - Gps unit , 1.3" Oled , uSD card , 4 buttons for user interface , usb charge , usb serial interface for bootload , pads for first ISP pgm , temperature sensor , ext gps ant socket , vibrator motor , buzzer .
This board is ver 2 for a 1.3 " Oled display , the 0.96 " is just too small for active outside use. The firmawre is all in BASCOM AVR and I have used ver 1 now for about 2 years and tracked a lot of races with it.
Pcb and compoment is quite tight and need a sober stable hand for soldering!
GPS data is saved as a GPX file and can then be uploaded to STRAVA for diplay etc.
