Simple AUX Switcher
Simple AUX Switcher
I wanted a way to change my AUX output from my speakers to my headphones, but I couldn't find an AUX switcher I liked. So, I designed this simple AUX switcher. All 3 AUX ports are TRRS, meaning you can use a microphone without issue. To assemble, you need 3 AUX ports and one switch. Simply flip the switch to switch between the ports! This AUX switcher is also bidirectional, so if you wanted to switch the input of your speakers between two computers, you can do that, too!
To assemble, you will need a soldering iron and solder wire. You will also likely need a male to male AUX cable to plug into the single port.
I also designed a simple 3D printable base to mount the AUX splitter on to avoid damage. This can be found below in the "Enclosures and custom parts" section.
