Description

SMuFF-Backbone PCB

This PCB is an add-on for the SMuFF project.

Learn more about this project in general here on my website.

The design goal for this PCB was to gather all the components that are crucial for the SMuFF to function in one place, so that building a SMuFF and wiring it up becomes much easier.

These components are:

Buck Converter
Shared-Stepper option
Multiservo option
Remote control option (SMuFF-WI)

Since it only uses I2C for interfacing with the main controller board it's a no-brainer getting it up an running, once the PCB is fully assembled.

Please keep in mind: This is Revision 2 of the Backbone, which is a slightly newer version than the one you'll find on the website.
