LTC5562_Mixer1_EvaluationBoard
This evaluation board is designed for the LTC5562IUC#TRPBF high-performance RF mixer, offering a compact, flexible platform for broadband frequency conversion and RF signal evaluation.
The board integrates BFCN-5100+ filters on the LO input and output paths to improve signal integrity and reduce unwanted frequency components. It is designed for a target IF frequency of 6.5 GHz, supports RF input frequencies from 80 MHz to 3000 MHz, and operates with LO frequencies from 3.5 GHz to 6.42 GHz. The image frequency range spans 10-12.92 GHz.
Integrated baluns convert the mixer’s differential RF interfaces to single-ended connections, simplifying integration with standard RF measurement equipment and signal chains. The board also includes an onboard LDO regulator that converts a 5 V input supply to 3.3 V for device operation, along with an LED power indicator for quick visual status monitoring.
This evaluation platform is well-suited for broadband RF downconversion, signal analysis, communications development, and high-frequency prototyping applications.
