QB1 peripheral board for HC-SR04 distance sensor
QB1 is a rapid prototyping system for ESPHome and other ESP32 devices. The main components are the main board and the 3D-printable enclosure. Sensors, other peripherals, and mounting equipment can be added using the five cube faces. QB1 supports many common sensors using custom face plates and peripheral boards. For more information, see the GitHub repository.
This is a peripheral board that allows a HC-SR04 ultrasonic distance module to be mounted to the QB1 and connected to the host SoC. The board provides physical mounting and level conversion between the 3.3v host and 5v sensor module. The board also has a connector that allows a second HC-SR04 to be connected using wires. For more information see the directory for this peripheral in the GitHub repository.
This board is intended for DIY assembly, due to the options for mounting the sensor and connectors. So this is a PCB-only project and no BOM file is included. A detailed BOM is available in the KiCad source stored in the GitHub repository, which also contains a description of the assembly options.
