The Pi.MX8 module is a SoM based on the NXP i.MX 8M Plus SoC. The module is currently under development and will be completely open sourced after successful design verification testing. The board was designed in Altium Designer using a 10-Layer stackup with VIA-in-pad technology.

The formfactor adheres to the dimensions of the raspberry Pi CM4 compute module. The pinout is compatible which allows the module to be used with already existing baseboard designs for the CM4 module.
