This is the PCB for this project and as you’ve noticed, this time I’m using a flexible PCB. It looks a bit strange but this is exactly what I need for today's project. We are making a planar speaker. Planar speaker headphones are quite expensive so making a homemade one would be great. In this project I’ll tell you what planar speakers are and the difference between these speakers and normal cone speakers, then I’ll show you what we need for the project, we design the PCB as we need it to be and finally assemble the speaker and test its characteristics. Like this you will be able to get your own planar speaker headphones but a lot cheaper. Obviously, once I get the speaker to work, I will design the headphones enclosure and also build my own homemade planar speaker headphones. So guys, let’s get started.
