I2C adapter (with EL driver) for the small LCD display PX1602.

PX1602 is a thin character LCD (16 characters x 2 lines) with an EL backlight.

Manufactured by DATA IMAGE, the built-in controller is ST7066U.

The interface cable is a 1.0mm pitch 20-pin FFC and a 2-pin ZH connector (1.5mm between pins) for the EL.

This LCD is small at 66 x 32mm, so it can be used in cases where a normal character LCD cannot be inserted. (6th photo)

This time, we made an adapter to convert this flat cable LCD to I2C and equipped it with an EL driver to make it convenient to use.

The 4th and 5th photos show the LCD installed in a 10cm x 10cm frequency counter case.
