Kitty412 - Multipurpose ATtiny412 microcontroller
An ultra-compact, battery-optimized utility development board powered by the ATtiny412 microcontroller. Redesigned with power efficiency in mind, this board replaces power-hungry traditional regulators with a high-voltage, micro-power LDO and includes an integrated logic-level MOSFET for switching motors, solenoids, or high-current LEDs directly from an I/O pin.
Key Features
- Microcontroller: ATtiny412 (SOIC-8) running at up to 20 MHz (Internal Clock).
- Battery-Optimized Power System:
- Powered by an HT7533-1 LDO (3.3v output).
- Accepts input voltages up to 24V (ideal for 12V supplies or LiPo/LiFePO4 battery setups).
- Ultra-low quiescent current (~2.5 μA), ideal for deep-sleep battery projects.
- On-Board High-Side Load Switch driven by an AO3400A N-Channel MOSFET tied to PA6 (PWM).
- Includes a 10kΩ gate pull-down resistor and inrush current protection resistor.
- Integrated SM4007 flyback diode across output pads to protect against inductive kickback from motors or relays.
- Circuit Protection:
- SS14 Schottky Diode for reverse-polarity input protection (low forward voltage drop).
- Decoupling and bulk capacitors for stable logic rail filtering.
- Single-Wire UPDI Interface for quick programming using megaTinyCore and an Arduino-based jtag2updi programmer.
- Compact Breakout: Exposed pads for I2C communication (SDA / SCL) and auxiliary GPIOs.
