I designed this card for my personal use with the intended purpose of being able to use it to be able to quickly boot-up, setup and/or troubleshoot older 8088-386 DOS computers. I have been using this card for awhile and I like it. I'm posting this here in case anybody else wants to try it or experiment with it.

The XTIDE ROM enables the features that may be lacking even if the computer has a built in IDE controller such as ability to use an CF to IDE adapter. The XTIDE ROM may also be required for the Disk on Chip module to work on older computers

The Disk on Chip module is exactly what it says, and chip that acts like a disk. It can be formatted, store files, booted from, etc. It is useful for booting an OS, such as on a computer that doesn't have a functional floppy or hard drive in it. These chips are obsolete, but can be found on ebay.

The USB part of the board can use either the CH375 chip or a CH376 module and provides the ability to use a usb thumb drive on a dos computer for transferring files, etc. It is really useful.
