This replaces the stock gear in Hologic compression motors. The stock ones are a 2 piece shaft and gear design that are booger welded together and break easily.

I have notified the manufacturer many times to no avail about this issue so I decided to fix it myself.

Has been bench tested when printed in stainless steel. I would not reccomend plastic but a nylon may also work.

Has not been tested for longevity but can say so far it stands up much better than the original.

If you know anything about Hologic compression motors, you know how hard they are to replace and this may make that a thing of the past.

May not work with new style motors, have not tested.
