Adapter to replace DIP-14 package 5-tap analog delay line or pin-compatible silicon delay line like DS1000, with current DS1100 / MDXD1000 etc that are now only available in SOIC-8 and smaller packages.

Radio Shack TRS-80 Model 1 Expansion Interface chip# Z37 is a DIP-14 DDU-4-7835 inductor based analog 5-tap delay line. (similar to DDU4F-5500).

The original part is based on an inductor, while the newer parts are all silicon, but they are pin-compatible.

For some years, parts like DS1000 were made in DIP-14 packaging that were drop-in replacements for the old analog parts.

Now newer replacements like DS1100 are no longer offered in DIP-14 packaging, but otherwise are still electrically compatible. They just need an adpter pcb to make the physical connection. That's what this pcb does.

Don't use square pins, or even standard machined round pins. They are too fat and they damage leaf-style dip sockets.
