2.1 subwoofer amplifier project

This single amplifier is consisted of total 4 parts as you can also see in the above circuit diagram.
These four parts are

1. Regulated Power Supply

2. Low Pass Filter

3. Low Pass filter Power Amplifier

4. Left & Right Channel Amplifier

So, It means that a 2.1 amplifier has total three amplifier inside it, one is limited to produce only BASS or L.P.F (Low pass filter) output and the remaining two gives output on Left & Right channels, That is why it is called as 2.1 channel amplifier.
