Up to 16 switches or 5v/gnd logic inputs can be monitored and when asserted (input = gnd), a sketch in the ATTiny can be programmed to generate serial output over RS485.This allows having switches or other controls in electrically noisy environments where another circuit or computer can receive and decode the RS485 data, responding to the control signals.Note: The assembled PCB in the demo uses mini 2.54mm pitch screw terminals but the assembly BOM uses standard 2.54mm Dupont style pins.
