This is a dual purpose adapter for 5200 owners. It will let you use a PC joystick with your 5200 and provide the missing keypad keys. The 0.22uF capacitors let the PC potentiometers work with the 5200. The original design was created by Bruce Tomlin in 2005. There is a thread at AtariAge.com in "Atari 7800 cartridge board thread" about the design.This version and layout was done by me to allow for smd resistors as they are easier to find.Small games up to 48k need only two components: a 74LS02 on the back side of the board and a ROM big enough to hold the game.Larger games using bankswitching need a GAL 20V8, GAL 22V10 or some modern replacement chip.
